Our company grew out of the employee benefits department of Marsh & McLennan Inc, an American insurance broker. Though we were successful in our own right, things started to gather pace in 1959 when we bought William M. Mercer Ltd and asked its inspirational founder to stay on. He instilled an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit that drives us to this day.
