Incident ManagerIncident Manager
We need a talented and driven team player to join our Technology Service Management team supporting technology services and platforms for all Macquarie groups. Working alongside a diverse team across 3 geographical locations responsible for timely restoration of technology services, you'll act to ensure that Incident Management processes are followed correctly.
Managing outages and threats across all business applications and infrastructure technology departments, we continuously support Macquarie businesses to reduce the regulatory, financial, reputational and operational impact of incidents.
As a well-rounded technologist you will respond to issues triaged, classify and prioritise the impact, coordinate the remediation whilst communicating the issue and escalating as required. You will also need to interface with our managed service partners so your technical knowledge would be equally applicable here.
This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in IT Service Management principles. You are thorough, meticulous and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. As a self-starter you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world and have a genuine interest improving technology process and making a difference in the organisation.
- Process: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Excellent communication skills
- End to end ownership of technology incidents
- Working knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as, but not limited to, different Unix and Wintel systems, relational database systems, networking protocols and topologies, and collaboration technologies.
- Financial Industry knowledge.
