An exciting entry level opportunity has arisen to join the Collateral Management team within our Business Banking division. As a key member of the team you will be required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. There is scope to learn and develop on your current skills and your ability to adapt and be flexible will enable you to be successful in this role.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective preparation of loan documentation (including contracts and securities) for commercial loan transactions based on credit approvals.

Other day to day duties will include:
  • Dealing with new and varied, consumer and commercial loan transactions
  • Being required to interpret data from a variety of sources to ensure complete and correct documentation is prepared
  • Data input and validation across a number of systems
  • Ensuring that documentation issued is in accordance with credit approvals
  • Ensuring the legal enforceability of all documentation
  • Providing advice to Relationship Managers in respect of loan transactions and structures, in addition to answering general queries

About you:

Other key requirements to be successful in this position include demonstrating the following:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Commerce, Law or a business related area
  • Previous experience preferred in a similar role in a Bank / Financial Institution or Law Firm
  • Expected to have previous knowledge/ exposure to the Banking industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise these effectively
  • A flexible and hands on approach with a team focus
  • Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to articulate and solve both simple and complex problems
