Technical Project Manager | Network Infrastructure


The Networks Portfolio is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to deliver projects mostly associated within the Network Data space.

Responsible for the delivery of voice and data solutions and services, via a Project Management Methodology to meet defined customer business objectives. In doing so the Networks Portfolio ensures that outcomes are delivered efficiently within the constraints of scope, time, cost and quality.

The successful candidate will have proven experience leading projects or programs incorporating voice and data networks projects and ideally via a managed service provider.

Responsibilities range across the entire project life-cycle e.g. project definition, business case, manage project deliverable's, business and technical requirements, communications, stakeholder management, detailed tasks, project implementation, testing, hand over to production, post implementation reviews, managing base lined project plans/schedules.

The emphasis on this is networks infrastructure technology delivery, as opposed to business application delivery, however with a strong emphasis on business stakeholder communications and expectations management.


To be considered for this role you will have:

  • significant project management experience, ideally within IT network data infrastructure services e.g. proven project management ability for complex ICT projects in an enterprise environment
  • a broad background in the networks project management space across firewalls, contact centre, data & voip.
  • excellent communication skills - will be dealing with vendors, presenting to management, liaising with internal clients, coordinating technical staff etc
  • proven experience managing a wide and demanding stakeholder group
  • demonstrated experience dealing with significant vendor partner arrangements
  • proven experience working with outsourcers
  • strong risk and dependency management skills
  • proven experience building and managing geographically dispersed teams
  • proven experience working in different cultural environments

The successful candidate will be a 'hands on' delivery focused Network PM with the ability to clearly demonstrate flexibility, resilience, dynamism, project agility and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, build and foster relationships and collaborate.
