About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to support the Technology Division. This role will be responsible for the establishment, management and co-ordination of delivery of technical training. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Technology leadership team to understand, drive and implement the strategy.

Key responsibilities:
  • design, implement and communicate the technical training agenda for the Technology Division
  • review of technical training offerings, including conducting a training needs analysis
  • design and development of new technical training modules, in conjunction with subject matter experts
  • content owner for all technical training
  • be involved in the design and delivery of training programs
  • liaise with the central HR Learning and Development resources and the Technology HR team to provide recommendations on the most suitable modes of delivery for technical training
  • work closely with Technology and HR to continually develop and improve the overall Technology Learning and Development offering
  • positively influence the Technology Division to promote a continuous learning culture
  • coordinate and implement globally driven training initiatives
  • stay up to date with current trends in training and technology

About you

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about learning and can demonstrate their ability to think strategically, who can be proactive within the role, can prioritise and manage competing needs, can effectively manage stakeholders in order to deliver outcomes, as well as having a comfortable consulting style that is both professional and personable. Some extra skills would be:
  • ability to deliver training on Technology professional skills and comfortable and confident in presenting information to all levels of staff
  • strategic thinker with proven ability to build frameworks, curriculum and learning pathways
  • strong consulting experience
  • has experience in building blended learning solutions and is innovative in their thinking
  • digital learning experience highly desirable
  • has experience managing vendors
  • flexible in nature and resilient to change
  • experience in Financial Service is preferable
