To support this vision, we are now replacing our disparate legacy systems in several markets with a modern, integrated, open core banking platform that will better serve the end-to-end digital needs of our customers.
We are now establishing a Group-wide Center of Competence to support and guide this transnational effort, and we are looking for a Vendor and Implementation Manager to join our team, to help us implement the target architecture and new core banking system of the Group.

What do we expect from you?

The Vendor and Implementation Manager (VIM) will support, challenge, and coordinate the internal and external resources involved in the implementation programs to implement the new core banking system and target architecture in Bulgaria, Hungary, Ireland and Slovakia. 
The role of the VIM is a Group-wide position that will cover the following scope:
• Monitor and coordinate internal and external “implementation power” throughout the Group;
• Monitor and develop relevant knowledge (Temenos T24 and other) throughout the Group;
• Represent International Markets Business Unit’s interests towards Procurement (vendor management) and suppliers both internal (e.g. IT Infrastructure) and external (integrators, implementation consultants, vendors), including ongoing cooperation, coordination, and escalation of issues.
The VIM will report to the Competence Center Director and will work together with the Group Enterprise Architect, Project and Program Managers and local business and IT architects from different countries.
The VIM will be part of a broader, international and distributed virtual team, comprised of members of a (multi-location) central team plus local counterparts in each entity.
 

Your strengths?

We are looking for a senior, self-driven, dynamic professional with:
• Extensive experience (3-5 years+) working with (or as) an external consultant for system implementation projects, with strong knowledge of main interactions points and sensitivities;
• Project experience in several business and/or IT domains, including  at least one large architectural or system implementation project;
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, to effectively cope with change, to act without having the total picture and to comfortably handle risk and uncertainty;
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, able to direct multiple team members towards deliverable and milestone objectives with confidence;
• Financial Service Industry experience a plus and knowledge and experience of core banking systems (Temenos, Profile, Equation) a significant plus;
• Proficiency in English;
• Willingness to travel.
