Your role
 The BMU team acts an extended arm to the business management team on
⁻ Design and generate useful MIS which supports the face-off BMs to make decisions
⁻ Receive and consolidate headcount and travel requests including conducting 1st level of checking
⁻ Update workforce planning based on inputs from process managers or other HR reports
⁻ Maintain organizational structure
⁻ Prepare materials / presentations for Senior management onsite meetings
⁻ Provide ad hoc analysis or support related to business management subjects
⁻ Coordinate and execute GCOO COO related controls
⁻ There are global initiatives driven by various teams which the BMU has vast opportunity to be engaged and undertake new support requirement in the near future.

Your team
The APAC GCOO Business Management Utility team (BMU) aims to expand the service scope beyond Group Operations to Group Technology and Group Corporate Services on business management activities. Current focus of the team is Group Operations whilst on going global initiatives are in pipelines.
Business Management teams provide support to the head of the function in planning, tracking and govern the functional headcounts and financials. The team also provides other ad hoc support to senior management on any business management related topics.

Your experience and skills
Candidate Requirements & Key Criteria Important for this Role
 University degree level education a must
 2+ years of relevant experience in Operations or experience in professional firms/financial institutions preferred
 Previous experience in or interaction with overseas stakeholders in:
-Business management (BM)
-Operations
-Project Management
 Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
 Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word Document and PowerPoint
 Good analytical skills, quick learner and attention to detail
 Aptitude for understanding technology and drive process improvements
 Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
 Persistence is a key skill. The role requires frequent follow-up and interaction with junior and senior staff of the bank.
 Good in handling numbers
 English fluency mandatory; Fluency in Mandarin a plus
 High level of energy and commitment to support across GCOO teams. An ability to be flexible and proactive in solving problems and issues for business management staff. Must have a ‘can do' approach.
 Able to work under pressure and meet tight dead lines.
