China IMO Regional Service Delivery Lead
Reporting to the China MO SD lead, responsible for delivery of cross-product (FRC and Eq) day-to-day tasks / face-off to onshore IMO SD product SME staff; product / control leads in other BSC locations
Understands all supervision and governance standards in addition to China Labor Laws, works with SD Lead to ensure adherence to each
Member of China IMO MC, represents specific region on all matters (people, RTB, supervision / governance, etc) in cooperation with Location Leads
Responsible for succession planning / developing talent pool within specific BSC. Works with the vendor to identify iSS SME's for deputy positions
Encourages / promotes a control orientated / risk adverse culture to through active management and leading by example
Works with location lead to create an optimal follow-the-sun model, adjusting when required to create maximum efficiencies
Works with location lead and local vendor team to create optimal working environment
Works with location lead for cross team and product collaboration to create synergies and standardized processing
Requires Quality Review Management (QRM) on processes / tasks to ensure service quality standard being met
Provide accountability over front to back processes as teams strive for DE and OE across all processes
Ensure region operations DE and OE for all tasks. Ensure action plans or ORIs are raised for non-compliant tasks
Graduate or post graduate, open to all concentrations / majors
Strong English written / verbal
Managerial experience / manager of managers
Ability / willingness to face-off to the business
Coach / mentor talent, provide avenue for career development
Willing to dive into the detail, work to understand the minutia of your teams responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to audience
Ability to drive agendas forward, project management experience a plus
Ability to influence others without direct management oversite
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Aptitude for understanding technology
Previous experience in a BPO or transaction processing business would be preferable, with experience in interaction with overseas clients or customers on the phone Experience in:
-settlements area of a brokerage or at a custodian bank; or
-brokerage industry trade administration and clearance or
-interacting with clients and agencies such as exchanges or
-a back office functions of bank, custodian or a brokerage firm
A high level of energy and commitment to support the business during a period of expansion. An ability to be flexible and proactive in solving problems and issues for Operations staff. Must have a ‘can do' approach
