Customer Support Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the close knit business support function in our Prague office as a Customer Support Specialist. This role is a fantastic opportunity to further diversify your existing customer service and administration skills in a globally connected, successful and passionate organisation that continues to innovate as a market leader.
Working as an integral part of the business support function the core of your role will be to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and a varied customer base across both the Czech and Polish markets. You will do this by providing a high level of customer service with a focus on communication, timeliness and data integrity.
Throughout your day-to-day responsibilities you will maintain strong commercial acumen and take ownership of improvement opportunities through the provision of customer service excellence. This will be reflected through precise and timely data entry skills and the documentation of all daily tasks within the shared CRM. You will closely follow payment formatting guides and comply with local procedure and the branch operations manual alongside other relevant compliance documentation.
Whilst maintaining regular communication with internal teams both here in Prague and throughout the global Western Union network through face to face, phone based and email communication channels. With future opportunity to grow the role through participation in global projects as necessary. Therefore requiring you to work in both English and Czech languages on a daily basis.
As the successful candidate for this role you will be a self-motivated, team player who is passionate when it comes to customer service and has a strong eye for detail. You will have established experience in a customer service based position and be confident with CRM systems. Experience within Financial Services and a global organization will also be an advantage.
Alongside these skills you will see yourself as a confident communicator combined with strong listening skills. You will possess strong language skills in Czech and English in both written and spoken contexts. Polish Language skills will also be an advantage.
You will be deadline driven and maintain a sense of urgency while managing conflicting tasks. Having the ability to not only build and maintain strong relationships across a variety of stakeholder but also influence others to a desired outcome when required.
