The Role

To further this growth we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Business Development and Marketing team in London. This team is at the hub of the firm’s operations. Its purpose is support the fundraising activities of the firm through the presentation of fund investment strategies, market opportunities, and performance track records for the different business lines on the one hand, and on the other to provide external market intelligence to support the development of new product and fund initiatives. In fulfilment of this role you will:


  • Prepare marketing presentations and investor memorandums to support our fundraising activity;
  • Respond to ‘Requests for Proposal’ and Due Diligence enquiries from prospective clients and their advisors seeking to allocate funds to particular investment strategies;
  • Participate in the continuous development and implementation of reporting templates that capture key information and data about investment transactions and fund strategies and performance, in order to articulate and elucidate the rationale of our fund strategies and their key performance drivers, and differentiate Tikehau’s competitive profile;
  • Undertake systematic analyses of external market forces and conditions which impact our investment strategies and may identify new ones, in order to provide context and insight both for clients and the firm’s own product and business development initiatives.


In carrying out your role you will develop, and require, an excellent understanding of global investment products and markets and also engage extensively with portfolio managers, sales and product specialists, risk managers, IT and middle office functions.

  • A first graduate degree, or subsequent Master’s degree in Business/Finance (in combination with Computer Sciences would be especially welcome)
  • Ability to demonstrate a keen interest in financial markets and products (and the factors that impact them)
  • Previous work experience in a financial institution, business or consultancy
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, combined with a creative and competitive mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills (fluent written and spoken English)
  • Excellent Excel/VBA and PowerPoint skills
  • Programming experience would be an asset
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
