The European DataWarehouse (ED) is the first central data warehouse in Europe for collecting, validating and making available for download detailed, standardised and asset class specific loan level data (LLD) for Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) transactions. Developed, owned and operated by the market, ED helps to facilitate risk assessment and to improve transparency standards for European ABS deals.

This role will be expected to ensure the consistency and quality of our deals and contribute to the design of processes and tools to build datasets by analysing raw data and converting it into information useful for analysis and decision-making by customers.

The focus on data usability and data quality will extend to the development and shaping of innovative data products and processes for future software product development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyse loan level data (RMBS, SME, Auto, Leasing and Consumer ABS transactions) and update our financial instruments performance database to leverage the information to the benefit of our customers
  • Creating and improving the current SQL rule set to automate the identification of inconsistencies in loan level data
  • Analysis of the investor report information and reconciliation with loan level data
  • Close communication with data owners and data providers in all questions around loan-level-data upload, data usage, data quality
  • Keeping up to date on the latest development in the ABS market

Your Profile:

  • Studying in Finance / Economics / Banking / Statistics or Mathematics
  • First relevant practical experience
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the securitization market is a benefit
  • Strong data and quantitative analysis skills
  • Understanding of modeling data sets
  • High Proficiency in Excel
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and international environment
  • Commitment to enhancing and developing products and processes
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Attention to detail
  • Very good communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
  • Programming skills in database management applications, VBA, SQL, a plus
