Job Description

Report to Manager, Account Maintenance, this role is responsible for the oversight of the Deposits Account Maintenance team which support maintenance of clients' static data of deposits and investment accounts.

This role aims at executing the strategies and implementing the initiatives laid down including the streamlining of processes, migration and monitoring of hub centres, enhancing productivity and supporting business campaigns.

Risk and control is also one of the key areas to address. By working closely with Unit Operational Risk Manager, Compliance and Operational Risk, it is expected to ensure all processes complying with policies of regulators and adhering to the procedures of the Bank.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- To ensure efficient and effective scope of operations is always in place, covering various processing work, support and services, system functionality and stability, risk and control

- To streamline workflow and procedures and introduce automation process in order to cope with the ever changing needs of the market and ongoing expansion of businesses

- To provide full operational support to various business initiatives as driven by Business and Sales channels.

Qualifications and Skills

- solid experience in Retail Banking operations, with solid people management experience
- knowledge on Retail Banking products and preferably understanding on regulations such as CoBP, PDPAO etc.
- able to work with various stakeholders in country and Group-level independently
- fluent In written & spoken English while fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
- expressive and able to communicate to stakeholders effectively with strong presentation skills
- able to work under tight deadlines and stressful environment"
