The Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) was founded in 1997, with the support of the Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and industry leaders to set, raise and promote professional standards for the financial services industry in Hong Kong. The Institute is seeking a high caliber individual to fill the following position:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Chief Executive, act as a management team member together with other department heads for the execution of the strategy and direction of the HKSI Institute Board

• Act as the Head of the Curriculum and Examinations Department, managing a team of 15 staff for the development, updating and the quality assurance of Study Manuals and Examinations Questions/Papers (including new and existing examinations), and the administration of regular examinations

• Act as the Secretariat of the Examinations Committee of the HKSI Institute for issues and matters pertaining to Curriculum and Examinations

• Act as the leader of the Centre of Excellence of the HKSI Institute for the production for technical newsletters, annual report and other technical publications, and for the technical support to other departments

• Act as an ambassador of the HKSI Institute at its membership and outreach events

• Liaise and cooperate with local and overseas regulators and professional organisations for all examination and qualification matters

• Manage ad hoc projects, including the development of new examinations and the revamp of examination systems

Core Competencies:

• Degree holder or above in relevant disciplines, preferably with relevant professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CFA, FRM, etc)

• Over 15 years of professional and managerial experience in the financial services industry

• Thorough understanding of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Ordinance and other relevant rules and regulations of the financial services industry

• Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua

• Trustworthy, strong sense of integrity and high ethical value

• Strong presentation, communication, leadership and project management skills

• Able to work under pressure, be multitasking and collaborate with multiple teams

• Adaptive in a dynamic environment
