Our partner is a top tier international bank looking for a Director to create and execute the analytics measurement tools for all digital assets, including website and mobile. The target is to accelerate digital sales through search engine optimisation (SEO) as well as facilitate continual growth in organic search traffic and rankings. This will also play a key role in collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement SEO best practices. This would report into the Head of Digital Analytics of Digital Retail Banking Team.

The target is to accelerate digital sales through search engine optimisation (SEO) as well as facilitate continual growth in organic search traffic and rankings.

This will also play a key role in collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement SEO best practices. This would report into the Head of Digital Analytics of Digital Retail Banking Team.

As Director, Web Analytics, you would:

  • Drive traffic to the website using the most up-to-date SEO tactics
  • Develop a robust website measurement tools, monitor and quantify the search efficiency, maintain regular dashboard, identify new trends or flag potential issues to fix
  • Work with the Group web management team, set the technical guidelines for the site owners to maximise SEO success including page speed, mark-up, contents and taggings
  • Drive the execution of the SEO initiatives, by working with the Group and Country counterparts
  • Collaborate with the web platform team for website updates and enhancements to maximise SEO
  • Keep up-to-date of the latest market changes, algorithm updates, and key events of traffic and web users behaviour
  • Initiate activities and user interactions that facilitate reputation, ranking, profile and traffic
  • Work with Digital Marketing Team and develop a robust plan to maximise the benefits from SEO and SEM

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of website analytics experience; background of working with Google Analytics or other website analytic tools an advantage
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and frontend coding techniques including HTML, CSS and JavaScript for SEO implementation
  • Familiar with digital content development techniques and strategies
  • Solid experience in digital analytics and site analytics, and the technology and methodology to implement the analytics tools
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and ability to articulate the analytics ideas with a business mindset, and ability to present verbally to stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of the Retail Banking Industry
  • Able to work independently, with the enthusiasm to deliver and excel
