Mission

Role

As a member of the OTC Legal team, he/she will cover the following areas:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation for OTC equity derivatives together with some fixed income (including credit) derivatives
  • Cash Equities
  • Identifying and analysing legal and regulatory issues relating to the structures of such transactions and advising the Front Office accordingly


Profile

Qualifications/Competencies

  • Approx 4-6 years' PQE. Private practice experience or previous experience in another financial institution preferred
  • Derivatives experience essential, particularly on equity derivatives; candidates with good fixed income experience (particularly credit) will be considered
  • Commonwealth or Asian (Singaporean or Hong Kong) qualification preferred
  • Asian language skills an advantage
  • Familiarity with recent and current OTC reforms (Dodd Frank, EMIR and analogous APAC reforms) on reporting, clearing and collateralization, and infrastructure reforms is an advantage
  • Experience of corporate derivatives (private side or strategic equity derivatives) an advantage
