Operational Risk Analyst


Environment

The Operational Risks Analyst is in charge of the security of the Human Resources operations in Asia Pacific. He/she identifies, maps operational risks related to Human Resources department and assesses the adequacy of the control framework in place to limit these risks. Then, he/she proposes action plans to residual risks and monitor their implementation. Finally, he/she implements processes for to analyze, measure and report operational risks.

The role reports to the Regional COO of the Human Resources Department for Societe Generale Asia Pacific, and is based in Hong Kong.

Mission

Responsibilities:

- Manage the security of the HR operations by:

o Collecting and analyzing of operational events with follow-up action plans

o Coordinating, monitoring and implementing operational risk management procedures

- Provide support to HR managers and staff to manage their operational risks on a daily basis:

o Permanent supervision : monitor declaration status for the region and create, modify, and enhance permanent supervision controls for the region

o Operational losses : report directly operational losses, risk incidents and litigation cases to the relevant stakeholders

o Access rights : define security measures to protect data storage, validate and recommend application access controls for HR staff in Asia

- Exercise a critical review of the model of control and its implementation by leading Self-Assessment of Risk and Controls exercise (RCSA) and ensure a review of risks of outsourced and offshored essential services

- Monitor audit recommendations

- Reinforce knowledge and training on operational risk issues by leading training sessions on operational risks for HR staff and managers

- Develop its perimeter and anticipate the operational risks of "tomorrow"

- Contribute to the definition of business continuity plans

- Contribute to regional operational risk committee

- Participate to transversal projects

Profile

Profile:

- University graduate

- Previous experience in Audit or Operational Risk Management

- Interest in Human Resources is a plus

- Good interpersonal skills
