Job Description

MIS information
-Provide monthly account information of GCNA
-Provide Risk & Opportunities on LI forecast for GCNA
-Provide cost forecast, budget, financial information etc. for GCNA
-Maintain and update Amadeus for Basel II compliance
-Submit/review returns for local regulators, PBOC, FSA, local and group Finance/GSAM
-Provide presentation and meeting materials and ad hoc requests for various Committees and Authorities Operational, Compliance and Control
-Coordinate closely with Group GSAM office in new system development and enhancement
-Ensure proper documentation (DOI) for GCNA offices
-Deal with external and internal auditors, HKMA during their visits and reviews
-Arrange support for daily account operations including cheque referral, daily transaction review, loan rollover, land/writ search, account settlement and other administrative tasks
-Oversee all the office administrative tasks including BCP, CCRA, access right, storage, procurement, etc.
-Manage the support team, ensure proper job allocation in HK and provide help to other GCNA countries 1st line Process Owner
-Ensure all processes within the manager's responsibilities are analysed and understood, and that all material risks and potential failure points are identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored and reported as required by the Operational Risk Framework and supporting procedures, documents, etc.
-Ensure applicable external laws and regulations and internal policies, procedures, limits and other risk control requirements are implemented and compiled.
-Propose control enhancements to ensure that known risk are controlled within acceptable boundaries and to consistent standards. Obtain approval of the proposed controls from the required Risk Control Owner or Operational Risk Officer (2nd line manager)
-Ensure that appropriate KCI and KRI are established, approved by the 2nd line manager, are monitored and any deviations are acted upon and escalated as required.
