VP, Credit Services Manager- APAC Agency Management

Job Description:
Oversees and guides the group in delivering superior client service while maintaining the data and process integrity of a Syndicated As-Agent loan portfolio. Distributes and balances work across teams and has ongoing communication with line officers and credit risk management. Prepares and administers performance and salary reviews, manages personnel issues, coaches and develops team leaders, initiates and communicates changes in policies and procedures. Ensures accurate loan accounting, loan and collateral administration, and/or documentation exception reporting depending on the responsibilities of the group. Manages AVP/VP team leaders. A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience and a thorough working knowledge of complex loan documentation. Works well with all levels of management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leads large Wholesale Credit Operations group (5-7 employees) with direct accountability Agency Management, Servicing and Operations functions with responsibility for driving measurable results.
• Leads special projects as they arise (related to Simplify and Improve, Wholesale Credit Transformation , etc .)
• Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements.
• Identifies and validates root causes of problems quickly, develops specific solutions, and be able to clearly control processes.
• Process owner for end to end processes, strategically maximizes efficiency while staying connected to business partner processes and needs.
• Ensures integration with business partners from an LOB and Risk perspective and p artners with offices across the globe as required to optimize processing
• Confidently resolves client and business partner issues
• Ensures compliance with all corporate requirements, policies, and procedures .
• Implements and sustains robust culture of Risk identification, escalation and mitigation
• Effectively manages change and creates a continuous improvement culture

Role Qualifications

  • BS or BA, Masters degree a plus.
  • 5-7 years relevant experience in operations management
  • Ability to think systemically (understand complexities and interdependencies in order to develop effective solutions to problems).
  • Strong and proven ability to deliver results through influence and leadership rather than formal authority
  • Clearly show the ability to quickly find and validate root causes of problems, optimize the efficiency of processes, and be able to clearly control processes.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities. Must know how to use data to communicate the business story
  • Client satisfaction and confidence.
  • Seasoned interpersonal skills.
