Mission

Primary Objectives:

  • To maintain high credit quality of Financial Institutions (banks & securities firms) portfolio of the Asia Pacific region


Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Perform credit analysis on banks and securities firms; monitor closely their evolution to be able to react quickly if needed
  • Propose or approve credit lines and risk mitigants within commercially required deadlines
  • Recommend appropriate credit ratings
  • Manage a portfolio of FI counterparties keeping credit files up to date, covering Asian countries.
  • Documentation negotiation including ISDA, CSA, GMSLA, etc.
  • Keep a constructive and regular flow of communication with Front Officers to help them build deals in a sustainable way from the risk point of view, and to be informed timely of any relevant event on the Bank's commercial side
  • Ability to speak to internal and external interlocutors at senior levels, representing the interests of the Bank's Risk function


Profile

Key Skill Areas & Knowledge Required:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in FI credit
  • Anticipation, quick reaction, ability to sometimes work under time stress
  • At least bilingual in English plus one other language; Japanese or Korean would be a competitive advantage
