Job Summary / Job Purpose

He/she will be part of GTS/MKT/SSB/APP and will contribute to regional Windows support activities.


Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

  • Handle System Administration of the Windows Server and VMware platforms within SSB-APP.
  • Handle study and project implementation on Server/storage and VMware perimeter.
  • Handle system upgrades and migrations in accordance with latest technology trends and SG global standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as well as training of users when required.
  • Work in close relationships with other IT teams, to ensure client request are handle properly/on time and client expectations are met.
  • Participate to SG Support Shift, Infrastructure week-end and Follow-The-Sun.
  • Ensure any impacting issues are resolved quickly to minimize downtime for users.
  • Follow SG Change Management process for any request or incident.



Academic Background (degree, major)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is highly preferred.

Working Experience / Technical skills / Know How

  • Administrator of Windows Server OS (Windows 2003, 2008 and Windows 2012)
  • Good knowledge of VMware infrastructure
  • Scripting experience (VBscript, ASP, XML, Powershell, Perl)
  • Unix/Database/Storage knowledge would be a plus
  • 2 to 5 year experience on Windows Server and hardware monitoring perimeters

Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting, SCCM, WSUS.
  • Good knowledge of VMware vSphere (ESXi and vCenter).
  • Very good knowledge of Windows 2008/2012, GPO and ACL.
  • Work in a regional and multicultural team.
  • Be an active team player with strong team spirit.
  • Building long term relationship with Peers and Client.
  • Be innovative by proposing simplification, automation or new technologies.
  • Make decisions in your scope of responsibilities.
  • Be engaged by providing feedback and supporting the vision and the strategy.

Language Skills

  • Possess the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical staff in verbal/written form in English fluently

Computer related Skills

  • Windows2008 and 2012
  • DHCP, DNS, SCCM, Active Directory
  • Scripting : VBscript, ASP, XML, PowerShell, Perl
  • HP and Dell Hardware

Professional Qualification (if applicable)

  • ITIL certification will be a plus
