Salary: €50,000 – 80,000

 

A Leading Investment manager is looking to employ an experienced Client Services Manager - this is a critical role whose responsibilities include the delivery of high quality services to the firm’s internal and external clients both directly and through their consultants and agents.  Managing and working as part of a small team whose key responsibilities include:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing our service excellence to and relationships with clients and their consultants
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships within the firms Portfolio Management and Operations Teams as well as divisional actuarial teams
  • Processing client monies for the firm’s pension clients
  • Processing unit appropriations for fund management
  • Reporting to internal and external clients, their consultants and auditors within strict deadlines
  • The administration of the firm’s online client enquiry tool
  • Production of weekly and monthly unit reconciliations
  • Ensuring that systems are in place for monitoring the firm’s service delivery, client activity levels and for collating other inputs for management reports.
  • Ensuring that business risks are identified and monitored and that adequate controls are in place to minimise the risk or operational error
  • Other projects as they arise
  • Training and development planning for team members to ensure that the team can maintain and develop strong service relationships with customers and advisers.
  • Leading and motivating team members to include regular feedback to individuals so they can achieve and contribute to their maximum potential.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience working with pension funds preferably within the investment management business
  • Have previous people management experience
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve and maintain high standards of personal responsibility.
  • An ability to delegate to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Be able to balance the conflicting and complex client requirements with the various other demands being made in the area.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex messages in verbal / written form.
  • Excellent end user computing skills
