A Large financial services company is seeking a Head of Business Development- Ireland, to work alongside their senior management team reporting into Board Level. With this comes a chance for an exceptional Head of Business Devleopment to positively influence and truly impact a large financial services leader at the uppermost level.

The key objective of this role is the achievement of sales targets through the development and execution of the off-shore fund administration business with specific focus  of Fund Solutions in Ireland.

As a key member of the senior management team, contributing to the strategic financial leadership of the Group, identifying opportunities for improvements in quality, efficiency and timeliness and ensuring execution of delivery plans.
 
Person Specification Technical/Professional Expertise


Negotiation of commercial terms with new & existing investment managers. 
Develop & maintain a key influencer network. 
Understanding current & developing offshore regulatory and product framework including regulatory framework and obligations of an Irish Administrator and Irish Management Company. 
 
Organisational Responsibilities
 
Ensuring that new business take-on procedures process is adhered to at all times. 
Maintaining accurate income forecasting and reporting in agreed timescales and formats 
Conduct monthly reviews to measure forecast / funnel to achieve new business budgets 
Define and assist the planning of marketing activities with the marketing team.

  •        Good knowledge of funds services sector and in depth knowledge of administration and 3rd party Manco market. 
  •       Strong regulatory overview and understanding of regulatory obligations of the Irish funds market. 
  •  Good knowledge of competitive environment, service capabilities, pricing policies/rates 
  • Excellent commercial insight. Strong negotiation skills 
  •  Good interpersonal skills 
  •   Fluent presentation/ communication skills. 
  • Self-motivated and ambitious
