My client; a leading European banking group are seeking a Transfer Agency Supervisor to join their team of five people and will report directly to the Head of Transfer Agency. The TA department work in a cradle to grave capacity and have a strong client focus.

My client; a leading European banking group are seeking a Transfer Agency Supervisor to join their team of five people and will report directly to the Head of Transfer Agency. The TA department work in a cradle to grave capacity and have a strong client focus.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the supervision of all operational and staffing aspects of the Transfer Agency Team
• Ensure the investors’ dealing orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Review and sign all checklists to ensure that all tasks have been completed
• Manage / mitigate risks related to the activity (operational risks, regulatory risks ...etc.)
• Ensure all the necessary reports required by investors, fund managers and 3rd parties are dispatched, as required, and deadlines are met
• Project management: continuously initiate & drive process enhancements
• Manage communications and work with internal departments to ensure a high level of support / services for the client
• Ensure monthly statistics and KPIs are updated and reported to management as required
• Ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, controls, SLAs, local laws and regulations by all staff under supervision
• Review of fund prospectuses, operating memorandums and key fund documentation
• Actively participate to fund launches and the on-boarding of new clients
• Keep line management informed of client issues and their progress and highlighting to management any client concerns/complaints as a matter of urgency
• Ensure that risk issues (both current and emerging) are escalated promptly to management
• Maintain a friendly but professional relationship with key client contacts
• Ensure queries from clients are handled in a professional way and within the agreed time
• Ensure the team is fully trained on the transfer agency system(s) and on standard and client-specific procedures & controls
• Staff appraisal and year-end performance review
• Ensure work scheduling and staff supervision

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Transfer Agency processes, activities and MFTA system
• Comprehensive knowledge of AML requirements, local regulations, tax including but not limited to Irish withholding tax, EU Savings Directive, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”), Common Reporting Standards (“CRS”)
• Ability to supervise a team
• Strong ability to understand, address, manage and resolve issues
• Excellent organisation skills & time management
• Fluent in English. French is a plus
