As markets evolve, Aladdin's risk management toolset continue to expand. The Client Analytics Group is critical in helping CIOs, portfolio managers, risk managers and other investment professionals stay current on BRS' latest risk management capabilities relevant to their business function. The Director within the Client Analytics Group will take leadership role of Japan's Aladdin Risk client team both internally and externally in understanding client challenges/ strategic directions in investment and risk management and will ensure that clients are fully leveraging the Aladdin Analytics and toolset as well as supporting our clients' unique analytics needs leveraging other teams including Relationship Management and Portfolio Analytics Group.


The Client Analytics Group is actively seeking a Vice President to help manage a set of high profile sophisticated clients in Banking/Insurance/Asset Management industry and Official Institutions.


Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage overall client relationships with goal of maintaining a high level of overall client satisfaction and drive expansion of business via analytics contents
  • Coordinate projects across multiple internal teams to help clients take full advantage of Aladdin's risk and analytics capabilities
  • Actively manage Aladdin analytic-related client communications, including model releases and enhancements
  • Understand client objectives, investment & trading strategies and market events to effectively manage strategic analytics projects
  • Represent clients with internal BRS teams to assess priorities and provide clarity on the client's business motivations
  • Assist Aladdin Implementation Managers onboard clients to the Aladdin platform
  • Influence the strategic enhancement of our analytics platform

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Financial Technology, Quantitative Research or Investment. Strong subject matter expertise in equity, fixed income, and alternatives desirable
  • Knowledge of various analytical models across multi-asset classes and best practices and regulations in banking, insurance and pension industries
  • Outstanding academic achievement, degree in Business Management, Financial Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or some other quantitative field of study. CFA/FRM designation or progress towards CFA/FRM designation is desirable.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients both in Japanese (for clients) and English (for internal discussions)
  • Excellent problem solving abilities on complex business problems with detailed understanding of technical issues
  • Keen client-focused spirit and willing to take on additional responsibility
