• Independently execute small and medium sized audit reviews of moderate complexity from planning to reporting.
• Contributes as a team member during audit planning, field work and presentation of findings for assigned processes.
• Leads analysis of control deficiencies to drive actionable business impact, influences management on sufficiency of correctives actions, recommends audit rating
• Responsible for managing a portfolio of audit issues
• Identifies opportunities for data analytics to streamline manual testing processes
• Exercises judgment and critical thinking to influence business partners. Identifies control trends in assigned business areas as well as impact to the business and to the Bank overall by applying business acumen.
• Operates as part of an effective team and contributes proactively to the efficient performance of the team. Manages time effectively to ensure audit objectives are achieved and works closely with team to enhance overall effectiveness.
• Has the ability to interact with regulatory agencies, external consultants and other internal risk management groups.

Requirements/Skill sets:

• Professionally qualified with 8-12 years of relevant IT Audit, technology risk management and/or technology governance experience in the banking and financial industry, with a minimum of 3 years in (IT) Audit.
• Strong understanding of Information Technology General controls and automated controls
• Good understanding of the application development methodology and infrastructure technology
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop a data-driven approach during audits
• Proactive in nature, assertive, inquisitive, analytical, has excellent attention to details
• Preferably one or more relevant professional certifications (eg: CISA/CISSP)
• Open to regional travel of 20%-30%
• Native level English skills, Japanese language would be an advantage.
