SLT Administration & Support team
Team description:
The SLT Administration & Support team is part of the Secretary General, Legal and Tax (“SLT”) department.
The SLT Administration & Support team's mission consists in:
- Structuring and providing an efficient administrative support to the different teams and sub-teams of the SLT department (General Secretary, Legal, Tax, Litigation, Recovery, Successions and Legal M&A).
- Preparing and administering some of BIL's executive committees, such as the Management Board, the Board of Directors and other specialized committees.
- Managing and following-up on the exchanges with the competent authorities.
- Providing an organizational and logistical support to the direct reports of the Secretary General on their agendas and their phone call.
- Provides scheduling and logistical support for all in-person Board of Directors meetings and director induction programs.
- Assisting the Corporate Secretary in the corporate governance framework within the BIL Group entities.
- Taking part in the implementation of projects in order to comply with applicable regulatory standards.
Principal duties and objectives:
The Legal assistant 's main task will be to assist the SLT Administration & Support team members in their day-to-day activities and the projects implementation activities. For those matters, the Legal assistant will be expected to:
- Participate in the common approach to deal with the secretary's tasks and in relation to the project implementation.
- Assist BIL' Secretary General and his direct reports in handling new and/or existing legal and regulatory matters.
- Report appropriately to the SLT Administration & Support management and to the Head of Secretary General.
- Implement and/or review the operational procedures.
- Change Management and innovation:
- Drive innovation and change management for and within SLT activities.
- Define a communication plan in relation to the projects, analysis, processes impacting the SLT department.

Profil recherché :

- Typical educational requirement: Executive Secretary with a Bachelor's degree in legal or executive administration (BAC+3 or equivalent).
- Extensive interest in the field(s) of Secretary, Law, Regulation, Compliance and Organizational Business in the bank.
- Experience in project management, business analysis, communication and innovation will be considered as an asset.
- MS Office Suite, advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Fluency in English and French are a prerequisite.
