Project Finance Associate Director - Dutch OR UK / Irish markets - Luxembourg

 

Our client is a European bank with an exceptional reputation, they are also the largest multilateral borrower and lender by volume, providing finance and expertise for sound and sustainable investment projects. They are no looking for several Project Financiers to join the team in Luxembourg. 

 

The Project Financiers will identify, appraise, negotiate and monitor project finance lending transactions across the Netherlands, or Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

  • Track developments and monitor target market 
  • Develop and maintain a network of private and public promoters, borrowers and financial institutions 
  • Screen proposals and identify lending opportunities that best meet the Bank’s objectives
  • Evaluate, at an early stage, the quality of potential projects and their chance of success
  • Lead and coordinate the lending process 
  • Structure loan proposals, evaluate their feasibility, analyse project and financial risks, draft reports and lending proposals 
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of loan and other project documentation
  • Ensure the quality and overall value added of lending operations

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance/Economics or any related subject
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project finance
  • Expertise in financial analysis as well as experience in credit risk assessment
  • Proven knowledge of the Dutch or Irish/UK market would be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of standard computer tools
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English or French 
  • Knowledge of Dutch would be required for the post focusing on the Netherlands
