Assistant Manager, Regulatory Compliance

Job Description:

  • Assist in providing advice pertaining to legal and regulatory requirements and its implication on the Bank
  • Prepare reports on updates issued by the regulators and its implications for submission to the Compliance Committee
  • Review guidelines/ policies issued by the regulators periodically to ensure compliance with the requirements
  • Conduct gap analysis to assess the level of compliance
  • Assist in reviewing the compliance framework for the bank
  • Assist in developing compliance manuals, programmes and checklists necessary to meet regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • A recognised Degree in Law, Banking, Accounting, Finance or other related Professional Qualification
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in legal/ audit/ compliance functions in a financial institution or financial services industry
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills with initiative to self-learn
  • Strong understanding of banking operations/ products and operational risks
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English
