Investment Operations - Contract

  • The primary role of Deposit Processor/Checker is to ensure the prompt and accurate updating of transactions into customers' SGD/FCY TD/SD accounts. Other responsibilities include the follow-up on customers' enquiries pertaining to their FD/SD accounts.
  • Additionally, the role of Deposit Processor/Checker is to load share to Deposit MY to ensure the prompt and accurate updating of transactions into customers' FD/CASA accounts. Other responsibilities include the follow-up on customers' enquiries pertaining to their FD accounts.
  • He/She must ensure accuracy in the smooth running of the process as well as reconciliation for the efficient and effective management in the areas of Data Entry, Payment System, Customer Service, MIS and Administration.
  • Incumbent must ensure strict adherence to compliance guidelines and operational controls. He must contribute as a team member to meet SLA and customer service excellence.

Business Management
  • Ensure strict compliance and adherence to Bank policies and established procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure prompt attendance to SGD/FCY/MYR deposits/withdrawals requests and ensure accuracy and timely in processing
  • Ensure customer's deposits are properly and accurately updated in their accounts
  • Work closely with business partners and ensure all transactions are carried out and exceptions properly managed
  • Ensure that daily transactions are properly checked, reviewed and accounted for. Exceptions, if any, must be immediately rectified
  • Coordinate with concerned parties such as branches, private banking, premier banking, etc and ensure proper and timely reconciliation of all interface accounts
  • Attend to and follow up on customer feedback / concern and work towards speedy and professional resolution
Communication
  • Support and participates in regular meetings and communication sessions to resolve conflicts, exchange ideas and share experiences
  • Promote healthy communications amongst team members and across business units to ensure proper information sharing and synchronization of understanding & delivery standards


Qualifications
  • Initiative, resourcefulness, able to multi-task independently as well as in a team
  • Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, highly organized
  • Basic knowledge and experience in processing/transacting Deposits products.
  • Good working knowledge in Microsoft Application - Excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Good operational knowledge
  • Familiar with the banking and teller system
  • Pleasant personality
  • Able to work independently as well as a team
