In this role, you will provide AML Compliance support to agents of Western Union and its affiliates in order to build programs that are in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and other anti-money laundering laws as they apply to Money Services Businesses in Mexico and the U.S.
In addition, you will:
•Support agents' efforts to comply with company policies and procedures as they relate to anti-money laundering
•Evaluate internal controls and anti-money laundering compliance programs for agents through transaction analyses, compliance reviews and training sessions, responsible for follow up with agents concerning review findings
•4-year degree strongly preferred
•3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, risk mgmt. or banking with a minimum of one year experience in BSA Compliance or equivalent field
•Excellent written and verbal communication and training presentation skills
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Proven ability to analyze, utilize industry standards and employ sound judgment to draw conclusions regarding the status of an agent's compliance program
•Excellent multi-tasking ability
•Program Management, Paralegal and auditing skills preferred
•Highly developed and demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills •Good knowledge of Microsoft applications and Lotus Notes
•Fluency in English and Spanish languages required
