Developing and establishing a robust framework

A top tier international bank in Singapore is looking to hire 2 SAS experts with strong process automations experience to join a new team as AVPs in Financial Crime Model Management

You will be responsible for developing and establishing a robust framework for Model Governance and Data Quality Management within the Financial Crime Analytics domain. Your role will be to ensure the risk models are performing within the thresholds and metric that are in line with existing risk appetite

  • Conduct data quality test to ensure a high level of accuracy before use
  • Develop dashboards and present results to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure models are defensible to validation teams/regulators through ensuring model documents / references are updated and consistent across docs and against SAS codes
  • Develop a robust and scalable framework for assessing data quality and monitoring models
  • Conduct technical processes required to produce the periodical statistics / metrics to ensure the models are not degrading based on defined thresholds. Results delivered on a dashboard and presented to internal stakeholders
  • Suggest model changes to production and test models based on observations obtained from the periodical monitoring process
  • Ensure data obtained from model source systems and model outputs feeding into monitoring processes is accurate, robust and fit for purpose

Key Requirement:

  • Excellent SAS skills (macros, can do automation especially for regular model monitoring and data quality testing)
  • Experienced in model management / reporting
  • Has experience in data quality assessment (dealing with 'dirty' data)
  • Bonus: Experience in developing dashboards / visualisation techniques (Tableu, etc.)
