We are currently seeking an associate to join our Investment Controller Group within Alternative Investment Solutions team.



Responsibilities:



  • Primary responsibility for preparation of accurate and timely Cash Management reports including creating funding memos for acquisition, disposition, contributions, distributions, and mid-tier expenses memo)

  • Updating of all investment cash flow activities in global investment database and reconcile to fund level investment reports

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management and investors

  • Maintain Legal Entity Management data base for the responsible areas

  • Facilitate investment acquisition on-boarding process (accounting review with JV partner, setup investments in Company and Client’s systems,  file deal documentation)

  • Facilitate investment disposition process (accounting review of disposition with JV, close investments in systems, Business Plans for closed deals, closed investments

  • Prepare Federal Reserve filing

  • Handle various ad hoc requests



Education



  • Bachelor’s Degree is must. (A major or concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred)

 Language



  • Japanese: Native reading and writing and

  • English: Advanced writing and speaking

Professional skills and experience (preferred)



  • Assist in deal financing/closing - requires interaction with various internal and external accountants and lawyers

  • 3-5 years’ experience within an Accounting or Analytical background will be highly regarded
