This role will report into the APAC Head of Anti-Fraud Compliance, based in Singapore. The APAC Anti-Fraud Compliance team has the responsibility of aligning the Credit Suisse global anti-fraud program in the APAC region, delivering the global strategy within the region and contributing to the development of the global anti-fraud program. The main areas of responsibility will be fraud threat assessment, supporting businesses developing and implementing anti-fraud measures, providing oversight and second line supervision of all regional anti-fraud efforts, ensuring global initiatives are aligned to regional plans and business strategy, supporting investigation of any fraud incidents, defining reporting standards, providing analysis and industry insights into fraud trends and stakeholder management. Specifically, the Anti-Fraud Compliance Officer role requires:

  • Develop thorough understanding of CS businesses/operations/processes from an anti-fraud perspective
  • Acquires and applies foundational knowledge of the business, its products, and processes and provides improvement opportunities and recommended solutions to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of fraud prevention and detection
  • Research/analyze/develop key risk indicators/fraud scenarios/risk and control inventory
  • Provide support and advisory on fraud related matters
  • Create and deliver customized anti-fraud training, as well as disseminate fraud alerts
  • Prepare Management Information reports
  • Work on projects of various degrees of engagement
  • Perform any other monitoring, analysis, and reporting as required
  • Participate in regional/global coordination calls and meetings
  • Frequently seeks guidance from industry peers
This role is varied and requires effective communication, investigation and analytical skills in order to meet increasing regulatory scrutiny.

  • At least 5 years' experience in a financial institution and with audit or compliance or risk management knowledge preferred, but not necessary
