JOB FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

The role's primary function is to assist the LOBs, Corporate functions and Technology group to identify potential regulatory requirements and constraints in cross-border data flows, data access and new technology implementations within the Bank.

The Compliance officer will need to:

  • Advise LOBs , Corporate functions and Technology groups on Offshoring , Asia Bank Secrecy & Data Privacy regulatory requirements in Regional / Global Projects
  • Assist & coordinate with LOBs, Corporate, and Technology Project Teams in reviewing and assessing regulatory requirements around Data
  • Protection & Cross Border regulatory requirements in Asia .
  • Collate, analyze and articulate APAC cross border and technology regulatory requirements to Project Team, and Business.
  • Facilitate Compliance in conducting regular firm wide regulatory awareness training.


Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of Asia regulatory requirements around Outsourcing , Offshoring , Banking Secrecy and Data Privacy is an advantage
    Strong communication skills [written and verbal]
  • Must be a team player
  • Good Leadership and People Management Skills
  • Attention to detail and project management experience
  • Ability to identify Information flow gaps [from Regulatory perspective] within applications and transaction process
  • Relevant experience an advantage [experience as a Compliance Officer, Information Risk Officer, Technology Risk Officers or Operation Risk Officer ]
  • Singapore / Hong Kong base
