The incumbent will join the Business Planning and Analysis team, and will play a key role in the Data Quality Governance Office (“DGO”) in governing critical data elements (“CDE”) for regulatory reporting. The role provides exposure to multiple stakeholders across the bank and requires a dynamic individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of the front-to-back processes. We are looking for team player, who is confident and articulate, methodological and possess the ability to present information in a concise and succinct manner for senior management consumption.


  • Perform independent monitoring of CDEs and work with stakeholders to enhance processes to meet data quality objectives
  • Play a lead facilitation role in issue resolution / process improvements involving critical data elements
  • Review submissions by stakeholders and administer the data quality framework on an ongoing basis
  • Provide regular reporting to the bank’s senior management and OCBC DGO on the status of data quality in the bank
  • Liaise with OCBC DGO on annual updates to Group Framework and identify its applicability for the bank
  • Drive awareness and on-going education of data quality in the bank
  • Support the rollout of data quality roadmap for the bank


  • Degree in Accounting, Banking or Finance
  • Possess 4-5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry. Relevant experience in professional services will be considered
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills and confidence in dealing with senior management
  • Is methodological with an eye for details and possess the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrate sound decision making ability and project management skills
  • Possess a strong controls framework mind-set and a good understanding of front to back functions and processes in the banking industry
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
