Position Overview

The Collateral Management function at Deutsche Bank is responsible for one of the largest, most complex and most global programs in the market. With collateral assets under management commanding a significant position in the market today; coupled with the explosive growth in demand for our product the Collateral Management group continues to offer diverse and challenging roles.

Our Team:
The APAC Collateral Management group consists of teams located in Tokyo, Singapore, Manila and Bangalore.
Our key responsibilities is around risk mitigation for the Bank. Products coverage include all currency, equity, rates and credit derivatives as well as FX, repo and commodity products traded across the world for bilateral and Central Clearing arrangement.

  • Act as first level of governance role on services provided by service centers (including margin call process, dispute resolution, business data analysis and data setup/maintenance and other BAU activities etc).
  • Manage exceptional processing and handle issue management with various departments such as Front Office, CRM, Legal, Financial Services, Trade Services etc.
  • Involve in advisory discussion to support new business growth with stakeholders.
  • Support clearing initiatives in APAC including Asian Clearing Houses, client clearing activities etc.
  • Active participation in assigned projects involving system enhancements, regulatory initiatives or continuous improvements initiatives.
  • Participate in market initiatives working forums to support new collateral management workflows

Experience required:
  • 3-5 years of banking experience, preferably in operations or credit risk function. Prior experience in Collateral Management will be advantageous.

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications is a must. Strong excel skills are required.
  • Entrepreneurial flair, innovation, flexibility and willingness to learn are key attributes across all of our roles.

    • A self-starter with strong ability to learn fast in a dynamic environment.
