Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of software development lifecycle using Agile/Waterfall models
Good knowledge on object oriented analysis and design
Good programming and debugging skills
Good knowledge of Coding standards, Design patterns and guidelines.
Understanding on source control, versioning, branching etc.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Hands on experience in Cloud environments setup including services, VMs, Load balancing, and auto scaling.
Good understanding of cloud services , communication protocols and frameworks.
Strong programming and hands-on skills on Java or .Net applications.
Good fundamental skills on Unit testing and code coverage using JUnit/Qunit.
Good knowledge in application integration using Web Service (SOAP/REST) or Messaging using JMS.
Hands-on knowledge in provisioning application servers/containers like JBoss Fuse, Tomcat on AWS cloud.
Hands-on knowledge in Oracle or SQL or AWS RDS.
Hands-on experience on Linux/Unix environments
Understanding on tools like Jenkins/Go-CD, Git/Stash, JIRA, Maven.
Hands on knowledge in Enterprise Integration products like webmethods, Jboss etc.
Hands on experience in writing scripts using PowerShell or any other scripting framework for Applications automation on Cloud.
Hands on experience with troubleshooting networks or application issues hosted on cloud.

Qualifications and Skills

Training/qualifications and Certifications in some of the functional and/or technical domains as mentioned will be an added advantage.
