KPMG Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance practice comprises of ex-regulators and professionals who assist financial institutions to understand and respond to challenges presented by the constantly evolving regulatory landscape.

Our broad range of services includes:
- assisting with licence application submissions to MAS
- conducting regulatory compliance reviews to assess compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- providing advisory support on regulatory matters
- developing regulatory governance frameworks, policies and procedures to enable effective management of regulatory risks
- providing regulatory specialist resources to support short-to-long term regulatory projects
- assisting with strategy assessments focusing on key regulatory implications of various operating structures to support senior executives in strategic decisions

We also provide customised training for clients including senior executives of financial institutions on banking and capital markets laws and regulations.

We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals at the Manager and Associate Director level with relevant experience to join our growing Financial Services Regulatory & Compliance practice.

You will be:
- driving quality delivery of regulatory projects including management of key client and internal stakeholders
- leading and/or supporting business development initiatives including thought leadership
- developing structured programs to enable knowledge sharing within the practice

We are looking for individuals:
• who are enthusiastic and have a keen interest in risk and control as well as the regulatory landscape.
• who possess a good degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Business or Law, with minimum of 6 years relevant experience in the banking sector or international public accounting firm. Candidates with experience in regulatory compliance roles and with a good grasp of business considerations are preferred.
• have a strong interest in and sound understanding of financial markets and products
• have strong communication and negotiation skills: the role will involve interacting with employees and clients of varying levels, including senior executives.
• who are fluent in English. Other languages are a bonus.
• have the ability to work independently and are resourceful.
