This position is primarily responsible for providing technical support and other Professional services projects for SSGX Software Clients in the Asia/Pacific region. This role will report into the GX Tech team manager, APAC.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Installation of PAM and associated Software Products for clients


  • Assist in pre-sales support where technical expertise is required


  • Working knowledge of Citrix Meta-frame


  • Working knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle databases


  • Network analysis and LAN audit at client sites


  • Development of simple to complex ad-hoc utilities that interface with PAM


  • Installation and support of regional internal desktop and servers


  • Articulate SSGX’s technical architecture and direction to clients and prospects


  • Help with support cases that require technical expertise


  • Be responsible for the technical roll out of new products that are introduced within SSGX


  • Travel to regional client sites on an as-needed basis



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or equivalent experience


  • Minimum five years’ experience supporting end-users and providing PC/LAN hardware and software support


  • Strong communication skills and client liaison experience is mandatory


  • Relational database experience (either MS SQL or Oracle) required


  • Database administration (either MS SQL or Oracle) required


  • Network administration (either Windows 2003 or Windows 2008) required


  • Software implementation project experience required


  • Big data experience on tools such as Hadoop will be preferred


  • Experience with Web services installation and maintaining scheduled jobs


  • Experience with remote communication products


  • Fluency with the Microsoft OS and associated products required; Unix/Linux knowledge a plus


  • Experience with report writing applications (e.g. Crystalor Impromptu/Cognos8) desired


  • Experience with DOS scripting and SQL stored procedures desired


  • Proficient in ASP.NET MVC3, C#.NET, VB.NET and VC++ is favourable
