The Graduate Talent Acquisition Specialist will take responsibility for the end-to-end talent acquisition process for Graduate and Intern hiring across the Group and Graduate deployment upon programme completion.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Sourcing, Selection, Hiring & Deployment
  • Adhere to the Bank's policies and processes governing Intern and Graduate hiring
  • Manage end to end candidate experience from application to interview and selection
  • Manage candidate pipelines, ensuring 50%+ female representation in all countries and businesses
  • Execute on campaign / campus strategy: careers fairs, presentations, advertising etc
  • Create and deliver on campaign / campus strategy budget
  • Manage business participation in select events (e.g. shortlisting, interviews, campus activities)
  • Implement sourcing strategies that create Intern pipelines and new hire Graduates for all streams and Internships
  • Manage Intern to Graduate conversion process and metrics
  • Deploy Graduates into permanent roles upon completion of the IG Programme

Stakeholder Management
  • Partner, build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders
  • Build and manage effective relationships with external stakeholders such as schools and universities and industry partners
  • Partner with HR colleagues - PRB, IM, Heads of HR / TA, HRBPs
  • Work closely with GBS team for process support

Pre-Joining & Onboarding
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure contract execution and completion of pre-joining documentation and pre-employment checks are completed
  • Execute engagement strategies to keep graduates warm throughout the extended period between offer and joining date

Branding & Employer Value Proposition
  • Partner with the agency team to produce campaign collateral, events and manage the team's social media channels ( www.sc.com/graduates , our GoodHappensHere Instagram account, Job Boards, SC Grads Facebook page etc)

Reporting & System Management
  • Use PeopleSoft and Taleo to manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven recruitment experience, with a passion for junior talent and people starting out in their careers.
  • Able to select the very best people, from an exceptional candidate pool, and make instinctive recruitment decisions backed up by first rate interview process data
  • Sound understanding of, and interest in, the graduate and intern recruitment market
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, including with the most senior leaders in the Bank
  • Experience of building networks and relationships both internally and externally, locally and internationally
