Global Payment Strategy is a strategic program with the objective of delivering the state-of-the-art payments processing capabilities leveraging leading edge technology. This role is part of the Architecture & Platform team responsible for defining and governing the service capabilities, interfaces and boundaries within the new strategic payments engine. The candidate will also contribute to the creation of a set of globally standardized payment processing model that can be extended to apply to all clearing flows in our geographical footprint.
Provide architecture and integration solutions across various payment initiatives demonstrating how the payments platform will meet those requirements
Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand and define the overall payment service architecture of the strategic payment platform
Define generic payment processing flows orchestrating payment services that meets the target state product capability
Work with initiative teams to understand clearing requirements and how those requirements can be mapped to the payment services
Understand migration requirements and ensure that the end-to-end solution supports not only the target state but also interim state during the migration period
Provide support to projective initiation by providing impact analysis to enable scoping, sizing and prioritization
In collaboration with the other architects and payment service owners, define service capabilities and boundaries, and to what extent services can be configured
Participate in the product backlog refinement sessions to ensure the backlog meets stated architecture standards and objectives
Ensure non-functional requirements and exceptional conditions are being considered in the backlog
Engage cross-impact or partner applications to define input/output interfaces and communication mechanisms
In collaboration with other architects, maintain the service catalog and ensure appropriate governance and change controls are in place
12 or more years of working experience in financial services technology
5 or more years working as a technical architect or solution architect role
3 years of Cash management/ Transaction banking experience; specific experience in the payments area preferred
Experience in industry file formats such as SWIFT FIN, ISO20022; experience in local clearing formats will be an added advantage
Adapt at working in globally distributed teams
Effective communication and presentation skills.
