* To assist the CRO, CIB to support the delivery of the Group's risk/return decisions, providing support for proper assessment of risks in line with the Group's Standards. * To provide regular review and updates as well as to support ad hoc requests required by the Group, the auditor or the regulator on the global CIB portfolio. This would include monitoring the portfolio along certain key risk indicators and functioning as the key liaison person for portfolio-related queries raised by the Group, the auditor or the regulator. * To undertake or support the CRO, CIB on projects or assignments as and when required.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Portfolio * Timely review and updates of the CIB portfolio * Monitor and review portfolio trends & to highlight any hotspots/ exposures that deserve immediate attention. * Prepare portfolio review packs/ presentations to the relevant Risk Committees as and when required * To undertake ad-hoc projects/ assignments as required from time to time and to ensure delivery of the desired result within agreed timeline. Risk Governance * To coordinate or compile the submission of periodic reports required from the CRO, CIB's office * To coordinate materials required for relevant meetings and monitor action items * To support the CRO, CIB and his team in the preparation of papers for Committee meetings, investors' presentation or regulators' requests. * To maintain a central repository to house relevant portfolio data Processes * To review and ensure timely submission and accuracy of data in papers or reports for Committee meetings or to meet regulator or auditor requests. * To support the team to maintain effective risk control and identify process improvement to strengthen the team's monitoring and control process.
Qualifications and Skills
* Undergraduate education in finance/economics-related discipline * More than 10 years of banking experience in credit risk management * Analytical and with an eye to details * Able to communicate and interact effectively with various stakeholders
