We Offer

  • Support the definition, implementation and maintenance of a front-to-back data governance framework within the Swiss Universal Bank organization
    Perform Data Lineage at the applications/interfaces or individual field level
  • Support business definition and operational maintenance of Data Dictionaries and Data Glossaries
  • Maintain the Conceptual Data Model, the Logical Data Model; collect the Application Data Models from IT
  • Collect information concerning the existing DQ Controls, propose new DQ rules, Controls, Indicators and maintain the list thereof
  • Collect information about existing DQ Issues and maintain them in the DQ Issue tracking tool
  • Define and specify data & sourcing models together with data providers and consumers, especially for IT data sources

Skills and Expertise
Desired

  • 5+ years' experience in a large global bank
  • Knowledge of Financial products and processing
  • Background in data analytics and/or banking process analysis
  • Fundamental knowledge of data concepts such as modelling, glossary, lineage etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Professional command of the English language

Preferred
  • Experience in Data Governance practice and tools (such as Collibra, Rochade)
  • Enterprise Data Governance (ISACA or similar certification preferred)
  • Enterprise Data Governance in the Banking industry (BCBS 239)
  • Requirements engineering (ISEB qualified preferred)
  • IT Architectural Frameworks (TOGAF or similar certification preferred)
  • Verbal and written proficiency in German
  • Knowledge of the Swiss Banking Platform at Credit Suisse
  • Experience of working in an onsite/offshore model
  • Experience in Securities, OTC and Listed derivatives trading, clearing, settlement, servicing
