Our client, a multinational banking and financial services company has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Control Manager based in their Edinburgh Office. This is an opportunity to join an international organisation which provides financial services to a multiple client base.

The role of Compliance Control Manager is to have overall responsibility to ensure the control environment across all areas of the business are adhered to.

For position of Compliance Control Manager you will be involved in the following;
-Work with Senior Management to ensure that there are risk mitigation strategies are in place and maintained of defence
-Develop governance reporting and chairing Legal Entity Updates
-Provide advice and guidance in relation to the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls around Client Asset regulations
-Perform reviews of Control Testing to ensure compliance with Control Management Global Testing Methodology and/or Client Assets regulations.
-Design and develop control reviews and testing to ensure adequacy and effective of controls making recommendations to strengthen the control environment where required
-Contribute, promote and monitor continuous improvement in Risk Culture
-Complete special projects as required.

As the Compliance Control Manager you will have experience of working within a similar role for a Asset Servicing organisation. You will have as proven track record of understanding, applying and providing guidance on CASS and the necessary regulations. It would be beneficial for you to have a strong understanding of UK and European Regulations. The role requires somebody who has strong communication skills and is able to demonstrate a track record of laising and influencing senior management and working on process enhancements.
