As one of our risk professionals, you'll work with multinational Financial Services businesses. You'll help them develop an integrated, holistic approach to risk and benefit from their investments in internal controls.

You'll deliver some of the most significant and class-leading internal audit and risk engagements globally. You'll also team with our performance improvement professionals in multidisciplinary engagements, helping major global clients transform and sustain business performance.

The regulatory team within EY's UK Financial Services Practice, provides advice and guidance to financial services clients in meeting their responsibilities as regulated organisations and individuals. The role of the team involves all aspects each financial sector, including retails banking, insurance, reinsurance and investment banking.

The role also involves having a good understanding of the risk based approach adopted by the regulator and also an understanding of Risk Governance and Infrastructure, Credit and Operational Risk due to internal or regulatory change, such as Basel II.

We are specifically looking to recruit high quality individuals at Senior Manager and Director level with a deep knowledge of the regulatory environment and in particular knowledge and the impact of the FSA Handbook and also Banking Code regulation.

The roles are based in Edinburgh, however travel to other locations will be required.

  • Experience / qualifications
  • Excellent regulatory knowledge around our key products - e.g. conduct of business reviews, anti-Money Laundering
  • Establish track record of delivering business
  • Experience gained from regulated firm environment of form a regulator would be advantageous
  • Strong consultancy experience
