We have a new requirement for a Fund Accountant to join my asset management client.
We have a new requirement for a Fund Accountant to join my asset management client in the Edinburgh Financial Reporting team. This is an initial 7 month maternity cover.
The team is very focused on teamwork and interaction with a lot of other and with colleagues in Poland. There is a mixture of fully qualified and part qualified accountants and a broad mix of people overseeing this process. This role involves oversight and production of regulated funds financial statements at both interim and year end periods.
My client is ideally looking for;
*Previous experience of producing or overseeing financial reports in line with UK regulatory reporting standards for investment funds.
*Experience in another 3 party administrator
*Degree would be advantageous
Within this role the candidate's responsibilities will be:
*Produce financial statement for UK regulated funds
*This is an oversight role where it is involved in offshore funds liaising with their Poland office
*Performs routine duties and data analysis for mutual funds or separate accounts.
*Reconcile various accounts, research variances and correct as required, conduct daily verification of capital flows.
*Conducting ad hoc research and analysis may perform other tasks as directed.
