This role is essentially an internal consultant who will engage the with Programme Delivery Managers to provide advice and assurance on programmes to ensure best practice.

To take responsibility for a group of internal projects simultaneously, as assigned by the Head of Best Practice. The job-holder will typically manage a number of projects concurrently.

Projects will include a range of internal consulting assignments; including strategic reviews of People, Process, Location, co-ordination of HSS strategy projects on behalf of ManCo / ManCo members, leading reviews of ways of working across teams and executing re-engineering fixes.

The projects will involve the management of work streams and resources from across HSS business units and supporting teams (such as HTS and GB&M) and will include projects from our Asia, MENA and European businesses. Developing and maintaining a good working relationship internally and with third parties is therefore a key component of the role. Highly skilled management of project sponsors is essential. For smaller scale projects the Project Manager is expected to undertake Business Analysis as required to define scope, timelines and delivery.

A primary objective is to ensure projects are delivered at pace, highlighting and resolving issues as they arise. Additionally, a consistent and professional approach to project management is essential with particular attention to delivering through colleagues in other reporting lines.
