Meraki Talent’s Investment client is short listing for a Regulatory Business Analyst – Global Ops Risk and Compliance to work within their team. Reporting directly into the Global Head of Regulatory & Mandatory Change, the Regulatory Business Analyst – Global Op Risk and Compliance supports regulatory and mandatory change projects across the business such as MIFID II, UCITS V, IFRS 9, Financial Crime Risk, Client Tax (CRS), SFTR, PRIIPS and Banking Reform.

 

Responsibilities of the Regulatory Business Analyst – Global Op Risk and Compliance:

 

- Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

- Create and track BRD traceability matrix

- Schedule, prepare and chair design / analysis workshops

- Actively manage key stakeholder requirements / obligations

- Project Status reporting to the Project Manager including workstream / work package updates

- Change Request analysis and onward submission to Project Manager

- Execution of tasks and deliverables assigned by the project manager

- Design and coordinate delivery of training programmes

- Lead requirements gathering, analysis and documentation; translate complex legislative and business needs related to business process and technology into requirements specifications

 

Background of the Regulatory Business Analyst – Global Op Risk and Compliance:

 

- A very strong, hands on understanding of the regulatory financial services landscape is absolutely essential. Candidates will have their knowledge of various regulatory initiatives tested at interview, this is a must

- Extensive experience working within a project or change capacity absolutely essential and clearly displayed upon CV

- Experience working as a Business Analyst, Change Analyst or Project Analyst within a regulatory change role is highly preferable

- Experience working directly within financial services absolutely essential

- Able to provide a CV of between 2 – 5 pages detailing their past experience
