The Securities business of MUFG offers an exciting Analyst position with our Information & Data Management Team (IDM) starting in August 2017. IDM is responsible for preparing all Management Information (MI) and selected Regulatory information across Finance and Risk. What To Expect
Our Analyst Program is tailored to meet the individual needs of each of our Analysts develop the knowledge and skills you need to be successful in your role. 

For our analysts, it starts with a four-week comprehensive training program designed to develop a sound understanding of our product lines, our clients & our business strategies.  Topics covered during the training include Financial Maths and Money Markets, Government Bonds and Curve Trading, Rates Derivatives to name a few areas.
 
Equipped with newfound knowledge, you will complete two rotations across the business.  During the rotations, you’ll experience how different business area work with IDM to meet business objectives and  gain hands-on work experience.  Once you’ve completed your rotations you will start your role within the IDM Team.  Right from day one, you’ll become an integral member of the team and will be given meaningful work.  Daily tasks in IDM could include:
• Daily production of Risk/Finance reporting including validation and delivery of daily reports
• Working closely with Risk/Product Control Managers to assist with analysis and adjustment of raw data
• Escalate and report control and limit breaches in line with Risk Management procedures
• Identify and resolve BAU reporting issues by liaising with Risk, Product Control & Technology Support
• Review and preparation of various management, committee and Board packs
• Involvement in the implementation of projects through user acceptance testing
