Application Support Analyst required for Central London Global Investment Bank

Caspian One are looking for an Application Support Analyst to help support our clients front-to-back PNL application, which will manage risk, and reconcile positions for the clients groups. Our clients offer solutions and support to numerous evolving businesses catering to different and sometimes complex requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility and accountability for maximum system availability and fast, accurate resolution of any issues.
  • Resolve any issues and concerns from various departments
  • Improve daily operations through automation
  • Drive efficiency through managing of infrastructure
  • Communicate effectively to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with development team and vendors
  • Proactively drive de-risking initiatives
  • Working on a wide variety of projects

 

Requirements:

  • Prior in-depth experience in supporting large-scale, enterprise-wide, global trading platform
  • Proven experience of working directly on the Trading Floor
  • Knowledge of PERL, Python, VBS, Shells, or any other Scripting or programming language
  • LINUX and SQL - advanced skills required 
  • Sophis experience is a plus or similar system
  • Knowledge of Solace, Tibco EMS, and MQ
  • Build and deployment management
  • Equity Derivative or other Derivative knowledge is a big advantage
